Guten Tag! My name is Monika. I was brought up in Australia, but always maintained a connection to my Swiss heritage while growing up. German has always been a part of my life and I have been teaching for the Goethe Society WA since 2013. I have also taught classes at UWA and TAFE. I have a passion for foreign language studies and history and completed my PhD in German Studies at UWA in 2017. One of the things I love most about teaching adult classes is that I get to meet so many people from different walks of life who share an enthusiasm for language learning. It is wonderful to watch students improve and grow in confidence over time. I hope you decide to join us soon!
