I am Saskia and I moved from Switzerland to Perth in November 2016. Back in Switzerland, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Education Primary and worked for over a year at different Swiss schools. When I came to Australia, I also completed a Diploma of Education in 2017 to get accreditation for teaching in Australia.

I have started teaching German for the Goethe Society in July 2019 and really enjoyed every Saturday afternoon I spent with my Backgrounders 1 in 2020. After a short break during Covid and having a baby, I started taught the Krabbelgruppe in 2025. I also took over teaching adults in A1 and A2 and am continuing teaching them.

I love seeing people entering my classroom with a desire to learn another language.
