Hi, my name is Marie. I studied English, Geography, and Home Economics at the University of Education in Heidelberg. I also hold a certificate for teaching “German as a second/foreign language”. I worked as a high school teacher in Germany, before moving to Australia at the start of 2024. Teaching kids and adult classes at the Goethe Society is a unique opportunity. The chance to significantly impact the student’s lives by helping them develop skills and knowledge that will benefit them throughout their lives is profoundly rewarding. I hold the utmost respect for everyone who chooses to learn the German language in their free time. In my spare time, I like to swim, bake, and travel.
