Isabelle Leopold
My name is Isabelle and I’ve been jumping in as a relief teacher for the children’s classes at the Goethe Society for two years already. I love the commitment of the students, parents and teachers here and I enjoy making the German language accessible to even the youngest! It is great to experience the children’s enthusiasm and progress in expressing themselves and learning about the German culture!
I was born in Heidelberg, Germany, where I lived until the age of eight. For the following five years Boulder, CO, USA was my home. Here I was exposed to learning a new language which led to my later passion of studying American Studies in Augsburg, Germany, in combination with Sportspedagogy and Psychology. I worked as a psychomotor therapist at parent-children rehabilitation clinics, schools and psychiatrists until we moved to Perth seven years ago. Since then I’ve had various small teaching jobs while enjoying being there for my four kids
