Course description:
This short 1.30h mixed level class is designed for intermediate and advanced students (A2 – B1), who would like to gain more cultural knowledge about D-A-CH (D) countries, including Südtirol (south Tirol) and Lichtenstein.
DACH is an acronym used to describe Germany (D), Austria (A), and Switzerland (CH). These neighbouring countries represent the largest community where German acts as the de-facto nationwide official language and is the first language of the vast majority of the people.
You will be familiar with a range of topics, for example the culture, traditions, societies, history, politics, and inventions of D-A-CH countries. The topics and material will be tailored to the interests of the students. Our teachers create a fun and interactive learning environment where the focus is on practicing communication, reading articles and texts, learning context specific vocabulary and sentences.
